Well, last night I got the "first" real smile from my grandson Dayton. It was an ear to ear smile too. He wasn't asleep and dreaming and he didn't have gas either. He was wide awake and Pop's is my witness because he was holding him while I was jabbering to him. And, of course I didn't have my camera in hand to get a great picture. Any other time I would have that camera ready. I'm sure there will be many many more smiles to come and with camera in hand.
I also got to see Trae last night. I hadn't seen him in a while and it was sure great to see him. He's growing as fast as his baby brother. Trae cracks me up with some of the cute things he says. Last night I asked him what that was in his mouth and he said "a nasty passie". You can tell mom and mamaw have been trying to get him to stop using his pacifier by calling it a "nasty passie". It was so cute for him to call it that himself. He went around the room giving everyone hi 5's. I even got a big hug from him. I miss not getting to see him as much, but he still is very special to me.
These babies are so wonderful. I thank God everyday for both of these little boys. They are truely a 'Heaven Sent'.
